I started giving tours as a part time job while studying at the University of Rome and discovered how many amazing people you can meet giving tours and how much you receive in terms of human and spiritual enrichment. I have a passion for knowledge and this has led me to keep studying and researching about art, history, philosophy, music, literature, drama, opera and also cookery and wines.
I've been working as a Tour Guide and Museum Assistant for the Italian Ministry of Culture from 1999 to 2008, I also started working as a freelance guide and tour leader since 2001 and now I run my own business designing high end cultural tours of Italy. I've got a University degree in Aestetics, the philosophy of Art, and I'm a professional licensed Tour Guide and Tour Leader.
I have published a number of articles on history, art and philosophy topics, participated to Sky Arts "Suggs Italy" and to the Chinese State tv documentary on the Colosseum in 2008, and few others.
I am currently working on a guide book and on a short essay on a WWII time Philosopher who was exiled during Fascism.
I am also a Licensed "Tour Operator Director" according to Italian Law and I have a Wine connoisseur certificate from the Onav wine sommeliers organization.
Besides all of the above I love having fun and giving dense tours which include a lot of fun, besides tons of information and the answer to all of your questions.
I'm a passionate traveller and what I like to offer to my clients is a tailor made service, sharing my knoledge and points of interest. The idea is basically to take you around sharing knowledge, ideas and also impressions, like I'm travelling too!
