Rome, Italy

Hi! My name is Ewa. I was born in Poland in 1980. Here I've got several Diplomas in Languages and Music.

For five years I worked for an important international Tour Operator both as a Tour Manager and as a Tour Guide all over Europe, but mostly Italy. By the beginning of 2010 my passion for Art and Music brought me to Rome, where I continued my development both as a Painter, a Tour Guide and as a Violinist. In addition to several Diplomas as a Musician and as a Painter, I have a Doctorate in History of Culture and a License both as a Tour Leader and as a Tour Guide for Rome and Italy. I speak very good English, German, Italian and of course Polish. My tours are flexible, and can be customized.

As a musician I started studying as a child in Poland where I've got my first Degrees. Moved to Rome I've attended classes of Painting and Art History and, moreover, classic violin classes at the Conservatory of L'Aquila (Maestra Olivia Centurioni). Then I've fallen in love with Baroque Music so I've attended a Three years class of Baroque Violin at the conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome (Maestro Enrico Gatti first then Maestro Mangiocavallo) and later another two years in the Conservatory of Palermo (Maestro Enrico Onofri).

I love leading my guests through this amazing chaotic but colorful city: Rome! Let's have a nice walking Tour together: I'll point you out not only the usual historical and artistic sites, but also the places where History of Art and History of Music took place changing the artistic and musical world with artists like Bernini, Michelangelo, Raffaello and musicians like Corelli, Lonati, Stradella most of them supported by mecenates belonging to the Vatican or to the noble families of Rome. Very important as well has been Cristina from Sweden: in her beautiful Corsini Palace she gave start to many Academies of Art and of Music.

Let's discover all this together!

A Recent Review of this guide

Ewa gave our party of 9 a wonderful tour of the highlights of Rome. Our group was mostly teenagers and young adults, and she kept them interested and informed. We covered the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, and everything in between. She also helped us find a wonderful lunch spot for our group, and made the reservations. We very much appreciate her knowledge and her friendliness.
