Just returned from The Best of Rome in One Day with our guide Claudia and our driver Roberto. Everything went perfectly from pick up to drop off. It was great to walk right past the long lines with our certified guide Claudia. She is so knowledgeable and pointed out lots of interesting things that we might have missed if we were on our own. We saw Trevi Fountain,the Panthenon, Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel, St Peter's Basicilla and the Colosseum. Claudia found us a nice, quiet place for lunch. 10/10

If you were thinking about booking a tour through Rome with Claudia, there is no question in my mind….You should absolutely use her. She was easy to communicate with, and we loved every minute of our tour. Her driver Marco was wonderful to pick us up at just the right stops so we didn't waste any part of our day. Claudia is very well-versed in history and made the tour come to life. My family had such a wonderful day in Rome and we were able to visit so many sites due to her efficiency. Thanks Claudia!!!

Wonderful time with Claudia. Very informative tour and we saw so much. Well worth the cost. It was a change of pace to explore the Renaissance and Baroque aspects of Rome. You can become overwhelmed with the Ancient Roman while in Rome. This tour was phenomenal. Claudia was a wealth of information and was spectacular in her descriptions and presentations of the information. My family has such a wonderful time on Claudia's tour.

Claudia was fabulous! We had 2 days in Rome with Claudia and would have liked more. She was very knowledgeable especially about history, art, and food/restaurants as well as being easy to talk to, personable and eager to share her love of Rome. I can't recommend her enough - if you go to Rome, call Claudia! We have used toursbylocals across the world, they are always great, but Claudia is among the best.

We had a 2 day tour with Claudia. Very well organized tours. Claudia is an excellent guide. Very personable and knowledgeable . She knows history and loves her country. My kids were also impressed. If you are in Rome and need a guide, highly recommend her.

I would like to give 6 Stars if possible. Claudia has a great depth of knowledge and experience. She was timely and kept the tour moving along. We would not have been able to see nearly as many historical sites had we been on our own. We would take another tour with her at any time.

The tour is very comprehensive and informative and Claudia was very knowledgable, professional yet friendly and energetic! It is a long tour and there is a lot of walking on the first day. Our day was extremely hot and we were tired but Claudia helped by keeping us in the shade as much as possible and we had stops for a wonderful lunch and gelato. The second day at the Vatican was just as good and we chose the option to have a driver that day. Highly reccomend Claudia and the tour.

I am so happy I booked my tour for my daughter and I with Claudia! She was such a professional and our driver was fantastic, too! Claudia gave us a great tour of Rome. While there is really no way to see Rome is a day, Claudia's knowledge and skill make it almost possible! We saw the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Vatican, Forum and Colosseum, while still have time for a relaxed lunch at a really good cafe. The car for the day was a new Mercedes van and our driver was skilled and professional. Claudia is friendly with a good sense of humor and very engaging. We are glad we were able to have her as our guide to the city.

This amazing tour of the historic Rome City Center was the end of our visit and cruise to the Greek Islands. It was our second tour with Claudia and was a wonderful ending to our adventure. Claudia arranged a driver to move our group of six around Rome at strategic locations where we continued on foot to view many beautiful squares, monuments and historic buildings. Our visit to a city highpoint with beautiful, panoramic views of Rome made for great photos and and added to the wonderful memories.

We cannot recommend Claudia highly enough. She did a great 2-day tour of Roma giving us a wealth of her knowledge. We were able to see all the sites and learned so much about the history of Roma. She had "skip the line" passes that were great touring the Vatican and Colosseum. We started our tour when we disembarked from our cruise ship. Marco, our driver was there to pick us up and take us in to the city to meet Claudia. He was an absolute professional! If felt like we were touring Roma with friends.

Claudia Marotta was an outstanding guide. She was right on time and very conscientious of the two seniors traveling with us, making sure they could keep up with the pace. She was extremely informative with Vatican info and made sure we saw some of the "little things" that most people don't look for. We would highly recommend Claudia. Her driver was always helping us get in and out of the van and was always very polite. Our whole experience with Tours by Locals was above and beyond our expectations.
