What. A. Tour! Incredibly impressed on our Vatican tour with Marida! My husband is an art history buff, and Marida gave him so many insights and stories during our morning together. She was prompt with hotel pick-up, friendly and extremely professional. But most of all, her ENTHUSIASM for the Vatican treasures brought history to life. I would highly recommend her as your guide!

We arranged a full day with Marida, and she gave us a wonderful introduction to Rome. We spent the morning touring the Coliseum, Palatine Hill, and Forum. Marida is a trained archeologist, and her depth of knowledge and expertise made the tour of the ancient sites very special. For the afternoon, Marida took us on a wonderful walking tour of Rome, including Campo de' Fiori, the Pantheon, the Spanish steps, the old gates to the city, and Trevi fountain. I give Marida my highest recommendation.

A highlight of our two weeks in Italy was our time at The Vatican with Marida. We could not have asked for a more knowledgeable and engaging tour guide and have already recommended her to our friends who are traveling to Italy soon. The time flew by too quickly even for our two boys ages 15 and 12. We *highly* recommend Marida as a guide and will definitely book more tours with her when we (hopefully!) return to Rome!

We (two adults and two kids ages 15 and 12) used Marida as a guide for two tours and our only regret was not booking more! She was a fantastic, enthusiastic, engaging, and incredibly informative tour guide! Our time in Rome was made so much more worthwhile because of Marida's guidance and deep knowledge. We would not have been able to appreciate the lesser knows areas and history of Rome on our own. We absolutely loved our time with Marida and highly recommend her as a tour guide!

Our tour of the Vatican Museums was enlightening and enjoyable. Marida has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the art, history and contemporary life of the Vatican. Her passion and enthusiasm for the subject matter is evident and she managed to engage us fully for the duration of the tour in the middle of a heatwave and the peak season for tourists. As we are both students of Italian language she also gave us opportunities to practice, quickly picking up our level and capability - wonderful.

Marida guided my new bride and I on a fabulous tour. This was our first time to Rome and she made it special with the tour just right to our specifications. At the end of the day we felt like we had a new friend. I highly recommend Marida. This was my fourth time to Rome, and the first for my bride. She made the tour personal for us. This tour was our family's favorite of the entire trip! Marida was so knowledgeable and engaging and she made even the most seemingly uninteresting things - such as a column or what appeared to be part of wall - completely exciting. She is a fount of knowledge and engaged our kids in the tour; my teenage boys still talk about how much they loved Marida. She even found a great and unique place for us to have lunch that I never would've found on my own. Highly recommend!

Marida gave us a wonderful tour of some of the best parts of Rome. She not only showed us the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, but she made them become alive with her stories and background information. Marida was excellent. We had just arrived in Rome from overseas and were jetlagged, but Marida was so interesting she kept us motivated to keep going. She was able to share what Roman life was like from 2000 years ago based on her archeological experience and expertise. She clearly loves her roman heritage and all the antiquities treasures. I hope we may one day be able to take another tour with her.

Marida did a great job. I asked her to design a Vatican tour that would be engaging for young children. She did a great job and my 3 sons liked her tremendously. When the tour was over my sons were sad she was not coming with us for lunch. She never got annoyed or upset with my sons even though their attention wandered constantly and interrupted her; all the things you would expect 3 boys 1, 5, and 9 to be doing. Very great guide and a great person. Hope to see her again someday.
