Our understanding of all the interconnections of the history of these places is due to the depth of knowledge of Lia and her excellent explanations. We recommend her tours highly. We only wish we had more time so we could go to the Basilica Papale do Santa Maria Maggiore with her.

She gave us a very good picture of the Roman power structure and why things evolved as they did. About the cancellation, we decided to try (I would have paid anyway) and the rain was absolutely not that bad, quite the opposite. As for the itinerary, I would have followed the itinerary of the program but you told me to shorten it for the weather, and when we were close to Piazza Navona you told me it was enough. I was surprised you left and about the contents I was showing you different types of buildings. I am here to offer you and your dears the rest of the tour!

United StatesOur tour with Lia was an amazing experience. My only regret was that we did not have more time to explore it with her. The Gallery Borghese puts a time limit of 2 hours on all guests. After your two hours are up you have to leave. Spending those two hours with an art expert was simply a wonderful way to see this gallery. She had all the details regarding dates, times, periods of history and personal comments that I was simply delighted with her tour. I highly recommend Lia!

United StatesI'd like to give a 5 out of 5 star rating for the tour we took with Lia on January 30th from Piazza Navona to St. Peter's Basilica. We took our 2 year old daughter and another family with a 2 year old and a 4 year old. Lia was accommodating to the children's attention spans while still providing us with fun and educational experience. The pace of the tour was perfect and Lia was delightful!

United KingdomWe had two guided tours with Lia in Rome. During the first one, we had the pleasure to visit not only the main tourist sites we intended to see but also some hidden gems. It was exciting to see what the sites looked like originally from the well prepared handouts. We would have never found out and have never seen as much of Rome as we could with our funny, lively and amazing guide who spoke perfect English and Italian. The first tour was so successful, we also booked a second tour, to see the Vatican.
