Thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Maria. Personable and good communicator. Knew the museum well. Good description for understanding the individual panels of the Sistene Chapel. St Peters Basilica was an outstanding building to visit and Maria provided description and historical commentary as we walked through as well as answering our many questions. The skip the line tickets were a plus also. Maria proved to be a very good guide, certainly knew the Vatican well. Great tour.

Maria loves this city, and her knowledge about so many hidden corners is incredible. She goes out of her way to take you out of the way, winding the streets away from the beaten path and pointing out hundreds of things we could never have noticed on our own. Even with the rain that followed us the entire time she made our day.

The trip to Ostia Antica by train was about 30 minutes. The site was amazing to see and is very large. Wear walking shoes and pack water. Maria was very friendly, and we could tell she enjoyed history and archeology- but struggled with English at times.

Rome Day Tour (shore excursion from Civitevecchia Cruise Port) Maria Grazia was a fantastic and very fun, knowledgeable guide for our group ages 45,45,17,15,9. Transport in Mercedes van with cold water ready for us at the pickup and first stop. Accommodated our requests to spend more time at certain places (Colosseum) and less at others (Forum). Found us a quick pizza place for lunch so we could keep going and took us to a souvenir street with gelato! Highly recommend Maria for any group size/age.

We had an awesome time with our guide Maria. She had arranged transportation for us and was prompt and early. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. She was also very fun to be around as well, some guides can be knowledgeable and stuffy, not Maria. She took us to the destinations we requested and then selected a nice restaurant for us. Do not let the low review count discourage you from booking Maria, she is a 100 all day long!
