The tour was well planned from the location of the site before the coliseum was constructed to the current restoration. Nuisances that you cannot read in guide books made the tour interesting and informative. I take a lot of tours and found her to be one of the best. It was wise to book her for both tours because so much of one area relates to the other and she could continue/complete the story. Valentina has a great deal of knowledge but more importantly, she is a wonderful teacher and story-teller. She is simply captivating as she brought the history to life. She is a gem and worth every penny!

She kept the 3 children (age 14 to 19) interested. I also liked the transparent separation of her fees and the ticket fees, while she still organised our tickets and entrance with no fuss.

United StatesWe had a great tour with Valentina in an off the beaten path approach to Rome. My wife and I have been to Rome and wanted something different . Valentina did not disappoint. From the different architecture we experienced to the meaningful street art we viewed, it was the perfect day. We had a great driver Sara who got us around and also took us back to the port. She was second to none. Topping it off was a great meal in a "local" restaurant that Valentina got us into. Valentina was the perfect guide.

San Jose, CA, United StatesWe were with Valentina for two days to see the Coliseum and the Forum one day and the Vatican the next. That said she was probably the weakest guide we experienced. This was her tour and is very sterile and rote, like she's going through the motions. There was nothing personalized about it. Furthermore, she was very attached to her phone, she was on it throughout our tour such that you not feeling you could ask her questions when walking. It didn't feel like a tours by locals tour, more of a generic tour.
