United StatesMarta was great - very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour gets four stars not because of her but because of the crowds. Both the museums and chapel are almost unbearably crowded. Bring your masks and prepare to be jostled and prodded. The crowds also force a less leisurely tour - there' neither time nor space to really let the beauty sink in. This is a must see for visitors to Rome, however, and Marta made the crowding more tolerable.

United StatesMarta was an excellent guide. She met us at our hotel with a private driver and took us to the Vatican. The lines were horrendous there but we were able to skip the lines and go immediately in. She is very knowledgeable about the art and history in the Vatican Museum as well as the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica and her love for the history shows through in her presentation. We were able to go in to some areas set apart for private guides away from the crowds which was wonderful. She was great.

She was super informative, used picture books to help tell the story of history. Our group appreciated the ease of access to the attractions without having to wait in the lines. She is so completely informed on everything we encountered. She could make ancient history come alive. All this along with kindness, a fun attitude and great patience. She is a medieval art historian and has a deep fund of knowledge. We really appreciated that and her ability to convey both information and the joy of seeing the masterpieces on the walls of these churches. Our daughter was not feeling well at all during our tour because of the heat, and Marta was very solicitous, empathetic and helpful. She even arranged for her friend to pick us up and return us to our apartment so that my daughter didn't have to wait for a taxi. I would absolutely recommend Marta!! Grazie mille!

SwitzerlandThis tour is a must and with Marta! It was our fist trip to Rome and a highlight for us. A driver picked us up at our accommodation and took us to meet Marta at the Vatican. We could avoid much of the crowd by starting early and Marta navigated through the crowds. She prepared us for the Sistine Chapel through illustrations before entering so we knew what to look for. Her knowledge of the Vatican Museums and many Galleries kept us thoroughly entertained for the duration of the tour.
