I would like to share them with you, possibly altogether, but even one-by-one would be great.
After years working in an international work environment abroad (NGO) on educational projects I decided to get back home to take the licence as tour leader and tour guide. I started working as a biking/hiking guide for a well known active travel company and felt in love with the job .
Having studied art history and education, my transition into the cultural tour guiding field was very natural.
Since starting as a guide , I have been giving tours in Rome and its surroundings. I am very pleased with my happy guests and their level of satisfaction.
I am happy to lead the must-see Tours: Vatican, Colosseum, etc. , but I like to add a twist that you can't find with just guided tour . I am passionate about connecting foreigners with lesser known areas of Rome, whether that be hidden areas of the Vatican Museam, or tailoring my information to cover specific topics in the Colosseum. I can propose to guests a tailored visit to new areas just opened to the public that are less filled by visitors. Imagine: spectacular ancient Roman sites practically all to yourself!
My aim is to make my guests exited for the guiding experience they will have by adding value to their choice since the first email. I believe in the beauty and joy the city has available and my desire is to share it with the travellers.
My personal itineraries are more "outside the box" or off the beaten path. They include: botanical gardens, city parks, peculiar Roman neighborhoods and private aristocratic residences which are only available with a private reservation. My tours are based on story-telling; I aim to make my guests feel like they are walking directly through Ancient Rome, with its fascinating plot through history.
I am happy to explore outside the city limits of Rome, as well. I specialize in countryside tours through small villages, and am able to tailor the tour to your specific needs.
My tours will be offered with the optional element of biking, since this is a great passion of mine. My previous job at a travel agency prepared me to lead group bike tours in complete safety way.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information. I look forward to hearing from you, and sharing together all the beauty Rome and Italy have to offer!
A Recent Review of this guide
Read ReviewsWe were thrilled to have Federica as our tour guide. Knowledgeable, smart as a whip and good humor. She was an absolute delight. We learned so much and all 3 of us could not have been happier. Highly recommended, she is brilliant!
