You can enjoy many different Japanese Foods and Drinks with wine and Sake sommelier. Paring of local food with drinks!
An Izakaya, like a pub in the West, is one of the ultimate experience in Japan. It offers a place for visitors to enjoy food and drinks in a social environment. It is a type of casual restaurant in Japan where people enjoy Japanese food and drinks. A broad range of people goes to Izakaya, college students, seniors, couples. . . and most of the visitors who go to the Izakaya are friends, work colleagues, etc.
I will take you to some of the most popular areas in Tokyo where you can enjoy typical Japanese foods and drinks in a very friendly atmosphere. I am a certified sommelier, so I can recommend not only wines but sake, shochu or even Japanese whiskey that goes very well with each food.
Sample of tour time itinerary:
1) Pick you up at most convenient places like your hotel or at a certain station or landmarks of your choice at around 5:30 or so, then I will take you to go to the area where Izakayas are, namely Shibuya, Shinjuku, Akasaka, Asakusa to name the few.
2) After first Izakaya, we can either go for bar hopping or go to coffee or sweet shop, and continue to discuss about drinking culture in Japan and so on.
3) Then I will take you to your hotel or to the train station where you feel sure to take your train back to your hotel.

Estimated Local Cash Needed
5000 Japanese Yen - In normal Izakaya I usually introduce, the cost per person is around 5,000 yen for food and drinks unless we eat or drink too much of the expensive food at expensive restaurants.
I will watch carefully what is ordered and will raise a red flag if we are exceeding that amount.
- Public Transportation Tickets
- Food, Drinks, Snacks
・I can not provide guiding while I am driving. Here in Japan, that activity requires a special driving license. I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

We had a great evening with Toshi around Shijuku. He accommodated our dietary needs very well. We had fun and enjoyed our conversation, and learning about Japanese culture from him. Would definitely recommend!
