Policy for Deposits to hold a booking

You must confirm a booking by purchasing a tour through our website or over the phone to the ToursByLocals office. contact

You pay ToursByLocals in advance, then ToursByLocals holds your money in trust - only paying the guide when the tour is delivered.

If your purchase meets the following conditions, you can confirm your booking with an advance payment (see booking form for details of calculation):

• Tour date is 45 or more days from now
• The tour is not a Live Virtual Tour
• The tour cost is at least 200 USD (or equivalent in other currency).

The balance is due 30 days before the tour date. You will receive an email reminder 7 days before it is due. However, you can pay the balance at any time through your account at the ToursByLocals.com website or over the phone to the ToursByLocals office.

Please note that deposits are not currently available for tours in the following places: Russia, Somalia, Iran and Sevastopol.
